Independent Designer Jewelry : "Blue Lariat" by Judy Kim

"Blue Lariat" is available for sale @ the Pink Button Boutique.

I absolutely adore lariats so I decided to create one.

The gold filled chain is eighteen and a half inches long. A light blue Chalcedony Heart Briolette hangs on each end. In the picture, the stone looks a little darker than it actually is.

If you don't have any experience with lariats, you simply tie it to the length you like. To undo it, you just tug on part of the chain and it should easily undo itself.

I created this right after I created the Amirosa earrings. I'm such a sucker for pink and everything pink (Pink Button Boutique, get it?).

The chain is an 18 inch double link sterling silver chain. Hanging is a beautiful Pink Quartz stone and five Keishi pearls.

Simply beautiful and utterly feminine.

This necklace gets compliments every time I wear it. One day, I counted eight compliments. It could be the large focal point that looks like peacock feathers. It could be the movement of the peacock feathers since the three parts are linked and not one solid piece. Or it could be the small delicate pearls that hang and tie the piece together that make people stop and look at it. Literally...just stare at it.

The necklace is an 18 inch sterling silver chain. The main focal point is almost two inches long, including the small pearls dangling from the bottom.

It is an interesting, delicate, and beautiful piece. I love wearing it.

After I made these, I immediately thought of something vintage, like those amazing dancers of the past called "flappers". The small black beads remind me of those dresses they wore, that moved so fancifully.

The earring wire is gold filled and there are two inches of chain with black Spinner beads. Hanging along the bottom is a chalky light green Preynite stone.

I wear these with all the time with black outfits. There is an elegance to them as well so they can definitely be worn at a formal event.

These were quite popular and requested around Mother's Day so I though that it was the most appropriate name. When people ask for the price, they are amazed at how affordable it is.

These earrings almost look to be vintage; probably because of the earring wire that the pearls hang from. From the base of the sterling silver earring wire, the earring measures an inch. There is a larger coin pearl on the bottom and smaller Keishi pearl above. Seperating the two pears is an intricate silver spacer.

Whether you give them to yourself or your mother, I'm sure either of you will enjoy these and fine yourself wearing them with everything.

One of my favorite things to do for fun is to have "grab bag dinners or brunches". My friend Emily picked these earrings at one of the grab bag dinners I had with some girlfriends. She wore them while vacationing in Puerto Rico and tells me that a woman stopped her in a store and kept commenting on how much she loved the earrings. I laugh because Emily said it was almost to the point of annoyance.

These are a version of an earring that I already have, called Cascading Flowers, but with an oval frame. They hang two inches from the base of the earring wire. The prettiest red Garnet hangs along the bottom.

I love the movement of the earring and how it looks as if the flowers are being framed.

These are named after a very good friend at work, Claudia. Every time she wears these I comment on how good they look on her.

The earring is beautiful and interesting. They also remind me of those fancy hanging mobiles. They are almost two and a half inches in length. At the end of the gold wire, there is the prettiest light blue Mystic Quartz stone, with three delicate Keishi pearls.

I love wearing these earrings with my hair pulled up. Then you really get to see the beauty in how the stones appear to be suspended.

Playing can be so much fun. These earrings came out of an afternoon of playing around and experimenting with some gems.

They hang an inch and one-quarter from the base of the earring wire. The earring wire is sterling silver and the florettes are white gold plated. There is a beautiful orange Citrine stone hanging along the bottom of the earring. Above the Citrine is a light green Peridot Baby Onion Briolette, which looks like it hangs suspended between the Citrine and the florettes.

Just beautiful and simple at the same time.

Every time I look at these, I am reminded of those indian dreamcatchers...but these are much more fun to wear.

The leverback ear wires are gold plated, and hang an inch and a half. A gorgeous light blue chalcedony hangs between the frame of the earring, accompanied by four freshwater pearls.

I think these are really unique. I love the wrapped frame and the way that the stones and pearls hang, suspended from the chain.

"Elegante" means (yes you guessed it) elegant in Spanish. I named them Elegante because when I showed my husband the final product, he reacted with an "elegante". So the name stuck.

Sterling silver earring wire, hangs 2 and 1/2 inches. In the center of the earring, hangs a round Preynite stone and five small Freshwater Pearls.

I adore these earrings. I wear them when going out at night in Chicago.

No, not Omarosa...it's Amirosa. These earrings were inspired by our school nurse, Mrs. Amidei and "rosa" means pink in spanish. So I blended the names together.

It is a simple, yet beautiful earring. The earring wire is sterling silver and hangs three-quarters of an inch from the base of the earring. Two large Pink Quartz stones hang. Each Pink Quartz is surrounded by five small Freshwater Pearls.

A gorgeously simple earring. The color is absolutely beautiful.

I hate to brag, but these earrings are absolutely gorgeous! It's taking every ounce of control for me not to keep them for myself. The name came about because the frame of the earrings remind me of peacock feathers.

The earrings are gold-filled and the frame consists of three linked parts, which allow them to move. They hang two inches from the bottom of the ear. There are a total of ten beautiful green citrine stones hanging along the bottom.

If you love these as much as I do, I would grab them up asap, since there are only two available.

These are fabulous and perfectly ornate.

A finished white silver frosted brass chandelier hangs from a leverback earring. It measures nearly 2 inches. On each earring there are three dark green Tourmaline Pear stones and six milky white Swarovski element bicone crystals.

It's fun to wear these and feel the stones bumping up against one another as you turn your head.
